Sister Joanna’s Table

A staple in the Evansville community, Sister Joanna’s Table has been offering a hot meal and a warm, welcoming atmosphere every Saturday for over 40 years!

Seven religious groups take turns over the course of two months to provide and serve a meal served out of St. Paul’s parish hall. This collaboration regularly serves between 100 and 150 guests.

We are grateful to regularly receive donations from Schnucks and the Fresh Market.

If you would like to get involved, please contact the church office!

St. Paul’s Food Pantry

According so some sources, 1 in 6 people in our area are at risk of hunger.

St. Paul’s Emergency Food Pantry serves people in Vanderburgh County. We receive donations from Tri-State Food Bank, have a budget from the church, and are also given other contributions from individuals.

The Food Pantry is open on Tuesday mornings from 9 – 11 a.m. and Thursday afternoons from 1 – 3 p.m.

St. Paul’s Food Pantry Mission: We show our love for our neighbors by providing supplemental food for those in need. Our goal is to make available a healthy mix of foods including fresh produce, fruit, and bread. We work to provide food for two or three meals for each family member. We treat everyone with love and respect. We welcome comments and questions from our clients, volunteers and fellow parishioners. We serve families in Evansville and Vanderburgh County. Clients are welcome to visit once per week. We make the most of the financial resources made available by St. Paul’s parish by using donated food when possible and purchasing food wisely.

If you would like to donate or volunteer, please contact the church office.
